ON-THE-DAY STYLING ASSISTANCE
For florists, planners, and creative hosts who already have their design vision and décor pieces ready but need an experienced stylist to bring it all together on the day.
I’ll take care of placement, draping, and finishing touches so everything looks harmonious and beautifully arranged. This service is for styling execution only, working from your existing design or brief. Ideal for creative teams who want discreet, reliable support behind the scenes. -
STYLING & DESIGN
For those who want their celebration or event to feel personal and beautifully cohesive.
From concept to setup, I bring together colour, texture, light, and detail to tell your story through thoughtful design. Using pieces from my décor collection and sourcing extras where needed, I handle every visual element so everything feels intentional and effortless.
I take on no more than 25 full styling and design projects a year, so that I can give each one the time and creative focus it deserves. If this sounds like the right fit, it’s never too soon to get in touch.

I’ve always believed that the beauty of an event lies in how it feels, the atmosphere, the textures, the sense that everything just belongs. That’s what I create through styling and curated décor hire.
Based in the Lake District, I style weddings, intimate celebrations, private dining experiences and events throughout Cumbria, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire, Northumberland, Scotland and across the UK. As a wedding and event stylist, I combine a carefully curated collection of vintage and contemporary décor with thoughtful styling, layered textures and timeless details to create beautiful tables and atmospheric spaces that feel warm, personal and effortlessly elegant.
Whether you're planning a wedding weekend, a private dinner, milestone celebration, editorial shoot or brand event, I offer flexible prop hire, bespoke styling and on-the-day styling support. Every design begins with your story, creating celebrations that feel authentic to you rather than following trends.
I also work alongside florists, wedding planners, venues and creative teams, seamlessly bringing together the decorative elements that transform a space. From fabric installations and candlelight to table styling and carefully considered finishing touches, I ensure every detail feels balanced, cohesive and beautifully intentional.

MEET DEBORAH
Hello, I’m Deborah, the hands and heart behind Deborah Maria.
My path to styling wasn’t a straight one. It began in the world of dance and theatre, where I first discovered how space, light and the textures of fabric and set design can transform not just how something looks, but how it feels. Later, I managed my family’s hair salon while studying events and hospitality, a mix that taught me a lot about people, presentation, and creating an experience that feels considered.
Eventually, those threads of creativity and design came together when I found my way to styling weddings and events. I began my journey alongside Janet Wilde of Wilde & Romantic, and when she retired, I had the privilege of continuing the beautiful work she started.
Today, Deborah Maria brings together styling and a curated décor collection for couples, event hosts, florists, and creative professionals. Whether I’m setting a table, layering linens, styling florals, or sourcing the perfect finishing touches, I work quietly behind the scenes to ensure every detail feels authentic, refined, and true to your story.
